After hearing the thunderstorm above the house it was quick 3:30am dash to a lookout at Kings park to get a good vantage point of the storm. Within 20mins of shooting I was lucky enough to capture this amazing lightning strike on the Rio Tinto building and a tower crane in Elisabeth quay. I was blown away to have finally captured a a direct hit on one of the buildings in the Perth city.
