The person(s) who make the booking, are doing so on behalf of all individuals included, and all are bound by these terms & conditions.

Bookings are only confirmed once FULL payment has been received. You will receive confirmation on receipt of payment. On occasion, Kane Artie Photography may offer the option to temporarily secure your place in an upcoming event via a retainer fee – if the full amount is not paid by the specified date, you will lose your place on the workshop. Retainer fees are non-refundable.

Deposits and Bookings for any Kane Artie Photography workshops & tours are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the host.

In the event a Kane Artie Photography workshop is cancelled by the host, you may be offered a new reschedule date, or the booking fees may be refunded. A Kane Artie Photography Workshop may be cancelled when the minimum attendee numbers are not met, when concerns to health & safety arise, and for any other unforeseen circumstances that the host sees fit.

All participants must ensure that they can attend for the workshop duration prior to booking. Cancellation by participants must be made in writing, and unfortunately refunds for bookings and deposits are NOT available for participant cancellations or failure to attend.

Kane Artie Photography is not responsible for any other costs that workshop participants may incur in relation to workshops, including but not limited to travel, car/equipment rental, accommodation costs, photographic equipment purchases.

For your enjoyment, and that of other workshop participants, all participants are expected to act in an appropriate manner from the time of booking, leading up until, and throughout the duration of a workshop. Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in your removal from the workshop without option to a refund or reschedule.
Some examples of behaviour that will not be tolerated on a Kane Artie Photography workshop are:
Harassment/disrespect to your workshop host(s), participants, and the general public.
Failure to notify Kane Artie Photography or the workshop host of any medical conditions that may affect the safety of yourself and/or other participants.
Failure to listen to the workshop host's instructions in regards to remaining on designated pathways, staying away from steep slippery ground, etc.
Lack of respect for the environment or provided accommodation. Please do not interfere with any flora and fauna, do not litter etc. Take only photographs, leave only footprints.

All workshop itinerary, locations, and plans are subject to change at the discretion of Kane Artie Photography. Changes may occur depending upon weather, health & safety concerns, or any other factor as the workshop host sees fit. Any changes are usually made to ensure the participants experience is as best as the workshop host can offer.

Kane Artie Photography accepts no liability for death, illness, injury, loss or damage to photographic equipment, or any personal belongings during the duration of any workshops or whilst participants are in transit to a workshop.

Kane Artie Photography can accept no responsibility for any losses or additional expenses due to delay, or changes in the services provided or failed to provide. We reserve the right to cancel or alter any aspect of the workshop if circumstances change or are unaccounted for in initial planning. In the event that Kane Artie Photography deems necessary to cancel a workshop, refunds will be provided, as stated below the “CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULE AND REFUND POLICY - PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS” heading. Participants acknowledge this as full and final settlement. In the event of a workshop cancellation by Kane Artie Photography, liability to participants will be limited to the total value of the workshop. Kane Artie Photography will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss.

By booking any workshops on offer from Kane Artie Photography, all participants acknowledge that they are aware of all risks, and are physically capable of safely taking part in the workshop. Participants release Kane Artie Photography, and any potential collaborators from all liability. Kane Artie Photography and any potential collaborators will assume no liability for any injury, illness, loss or damage of personal property, or expenses associated with participation in a workshop.

Workshop Covid-19 Policy

If you have booked, or are thinking about booking a workshop with us, and you’re concerned about the impact of Covid-19 on your booking please read the below information.

- If you decide to cancel your booking with us because of concerns related to Covid-19, you will be subject to the Terms and Conditions (see above) that you agreed upon when you made your booking and paid your retainer fee and/or balance for the tour.

- This may result in forfeiture of a portion or all of the fees paid, including your retainer fee. See below to determine the extent of your liability.

- If your booking was for a multi-day tour, you should also consult your travel insurer in order to determine if you will receive any compensation for cancelling the tour and/or whether you will be covered if you fall sick while on tour.

 Covid-19 and Workshop Cancellations

In the case of Covid-19 related concerns (e.g. snap lockdowns, travel restrictions, or if the workshop/tour host(s) become unwell) preventing us from delivering all or part of the photography workshop, we may refund the customer for the unperformed part of the tour less any reasonable losses incurred before cancellation. We will endeavour to minimise any losses incurred by customers.

Vaccination Requirements

Many of the multi-day workshops are all inclusive (meals, travel, accommodation, etc) and complications may arise for any unvaccinated participants due to these inclusions. If you are unvaccinated and wish to attend one of these multi-day workshops you will need to contact us first so that we can make a decision on whether or not we can accommodate you. The decision will be based on a matter of logistics, public health advice, and participant safety.
